Accessible Adventures

Disability Aides

Professional aides accompanying a visitor with a disability receive free admission. One aide per visitor. Aide admission can be redeemed upon arrival.

Parking and Entrance

There are four accessible parking spaces available, all van-accessible. The entrance and exit are both fully accessible with ramps.

Wheelchair Access

Limited, complimentary wheelchair available for use on a first-come, first served basis. All galleries are wheelchair/scooter accessible.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome throughout the entire Center. The Discovery Center of Idaho and ADA require that service animals be under the control of the handler at all times. The service animal must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered while in public places unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the person’s disability prevents use of these devices.

The Discovery Center reserves the right to deny admission if these requirements are not met.
