Space Devices with Boise State's NASA SUITS Team - Oct 15th @12pm via Zoom

The Discovery Center of Idaho is thrilled to present a special virtual presentation with Boise State University's NASA SUITS Team, diving into their four years of research developing ARSIS (Augmented Reality Space Informatics Systems). Their team will share their process and do a live demonstration of it in action!

Program Details: The 30 minute program will include a 10 minute lecture-presentation by Boise State NASA SUITS, followed by a 15 minute live demonstration of ARSIS and ending with a Q&A.

About Boise State NASA SUITS & ARSIS: SUITS, or Spacesuit User Interface Technologies for Students is an annual challenge hosted by NASA to build AR software prototypes that can help improve autonomy, spatial awareness, communication and navigation for astronauts on EVA’s. In answer to this challenge, our team has spent the last four years developing ARSIS (Augmented Reality Space Informatics System) which leverages AR and VR to create a telepresence communication system between the astronaut and mission control.
