All you need is:

  • Cored apples
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar

Add a bit of baking soda to the hollow in the apple where the core was. Then pour in the vinegar and watch your volcano erupt! You can add food coloring to the vinegar or apple pie spice to the baking soda for an extra element of fun.

What you’ll need:

  • Borax Powder
  • Water
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Seashells

You’ll need:

  • Liquid starch

  • Sand
  • Water
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Container

To get started with your slime, add ½ cup of PVA glue to a bowl. Add in ½ cup of water and mix it up really well. Add in several tablespoons of sand and stir some more. Finally, add ¼ cup of liquid starch and stir one more time. Now your kids are ready to play with this summertime take on a classic slime recipe!

Super Scrumptious Solar S’mores

All you’ll need is:

  • Tin foil
  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallows
  • Chocolate
  • Magnifying glass

Lay out the tin foil and fold it in half. Unfold it again, and on one half, set up your s’mores by layering a graham cracker, a bit of chocolate, and a marshmallow. Fold the other half of the foil so that the sunlight angles down onto the s’mores. If it doesn’t seems to be working, try using a magnifying glass to focus the sun onto the s’mores.
