
Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the American Children’s Museums (ACM) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to offer a signature access program that encourages low-income and under-served individuals and families to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits.
Any individual or family receiving food assistance and is in possession of a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card will receive $3 per person admission to the Discovery Center of Idaho for up to 4 people per visit.
No. Because a SNAP EBT card must be presented to receive the Museums for All admission rate, all transactions must occur at the Discovery Center of Idaho front desk.
No. The Museums for All admission rate includes general admission into the Discovery Center only, and does not include entry into special exhibitions. The fee for entry into special exhibitions can be added onto the Museums for All admission rate at the front desk.
No. Your SNAP EBT card is only presented as identification showing that you are eligible for the Museums for All admission rate and cannot be used as a form of payment. You must pay via cash or credit card at the front desk.
Any individual or family who presents a SNAP EBT card can visit the Discovery Center of Idaho as many times as they like and receive the Museums for All rate for up to 4 people.
