An Important Message from the DCI Education Department

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We understand that choosing a healthy environment for your child is an important part of planning for summer, so we want to assure you that at the Discovery Center of Idaho we have always taken great care in developing and maintaining the highest standards in health and safety practices. Our programs are led exclusively by educators who manage classrooms professionally, ensuring that we consistently provide a safe and healthy experience.

At the Discovery Center of Idaho summer camps, children wash their hands with antibacterial soap before and after each activity and visit to the galleries, and before eating snacks and meals. Additionally, all participants are provided with hand sanitizer throughout the program.

We are sure you are aware of concerns surrounding communicable diseases including the COVID-19 virus, and we encourage you to stay up to date with information through your state and local health departments. We also wish to be proactive in assuring you that our program will maintain our trusted health and safety standards in 2020.

Thank you for choosing Summer Camps at the Discovery Center of Idaho! When your child joins us this summer, you can be confident that we will, as always, provide a safe, healthy and fun learning environment.

Sincerely,

The Discovery Center of Idaho Education Department
