Letting Off STEAM is an extended activity space for drop-in, hands-on exploration of STEM topics (and art!) for school-aged visitors (1st - 8th grade), which is all anchored around our fantastic exhibitions: King Tut and Tinker the T-rex. Whether its an archaeological dig, creating your own code or making nebula artwork, the Discovery Center is a great informal learning space for your learners to extend on their school experience!
Thursdays from 2-4pm (every 30 minutes)
- Free for members & with admission // $5 for program only
- Walk-ins only // first come, first serve basis
- Limited capacity - only 10 people max in the room at one time
- Participants must check in at the front desk upon arrival to receive a spot
- Masks are required
