Important Update: Fall Field Trips
All field trip participants will be required to wear masks inside the Discovery Center of Idaho. This includes students and chaperones, regardless of vaccination status.
$6 / Student for Non-Public School Groups
$6 / Student for 49% or fewer FRL Public Schools
$3 / Student for 50% or high FRL Public Schools
$10 / Chaperone
$3 / Student for Optional Hands-on Experience
*We are able to offer discounted field trip prices thanks to a generous donation from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation and the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation. Book NOW to access this experience at the current price! Once scholarship funds are exhausted, student group reservations will be $10 per student & chaperone.
- 10 student minimum. 60 student maximum. If you have more than 30 students, we can separate into smaller groups to accommodate capacity limits. Inquire for more details.
- 1:5 chaperone ratio for elementary // 1:10 chaperone ratio for middle/high
- Any additional chaperones will be charged the regular admission cost of $18/person separately, at time of arrival
- Reservations are necessary and must be made 2 weeks in advance.
Launching Fall 2021
Designed to connect classroom content directly to current Discovery Center exhibition themes, our Virtual School Programs provide home-bound students and virtual classrooms the opportunity to learn STEM/STEAM concepts via pre-recorded or live Zoom presentations.
All virtual programs come with the option of hands-on learning activities at a low additional cost.

Rescheduling & Refund Policy
Refunds cannot be processed less than two weeks in advance.
