Our volunteer opportunities are two hours long each and range from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The tasks will consist of standing for the two hours and providing guidance, knowledge and support to the community as they enjoy the Center. Volunteering provides the opportunity for an individual to rapidly increase their knowledge in a variety of topics while influencing the community around them.

Education & Community Engagement
Educational & Community Engagement programming opportunities include, but are not limited to: Gallery floor interaction, School-break Camps, Representing the Discovery Center at community events and more.
Requirements:
- 15 years or older
- Reliable form of transportation
- Pass background check

Linking In Program
To make College and University partnerships easier to navigate, the Education Department at the Discovery Center of Idaho has created a menu of internship and/or volunteer opportunities and projects that are specifically geared to support our changing organizational needs and the learning needs of College and University students of various levels, from a variety of departments. Event Support
Additional events with the Discovery Center include, but are not limited to: Adult nights, Member Mondays, Science with Style Gala, Private Events and more.

Shop Support
Shop volunteers support our Exhibits Team as they produce and design our in-house exhibitions.
