The Discovery Center of Idaho is excited to empower our community by sharing fantastic STEAM learning opportunities at your upcoming event! Explore a variety of educational activities that are sure to keep our community curious about the wonders of STEM and the Arts. Simply submit an outreach event request, and our Education Department will bring the fun right to you. With hands-on fun that’s always within reach, let’s make learning an adventure together!

ACTIVITY OPTIONS:
- Slime: Everybody loves slime, and it’s time to explore the science of this beloved non-Newtonian fluid! Guests can either take home a slime kit or assemble it with our Education Team at your event. Get ready to stretch your imagination and learn the science behind the ooey-gooey substance!
- Straw Rockets: This activity brings the wonders of the galaxy to you. Race your very own rocket using elements of physics! Customize, assemble and blast off!
- Q-Tip Dinosaurs: We dig dinosaurs! Junior paleontologists can explore the skeletal structures of various dinosaurs using a common household item- Q-tips! (Suited for K – 2nd students)
