Why Discovery Center?
Discovery Center of Idaho is Idaho's only hands-on science center. We provide fun, interactive STEM and art learning by bringing the community hands-on exhibits, world-class traveling exhibitions, non-traditional educational programming for all ages and a safe space for all to explore. Located in the heart of Boise's downtown, we've been inspiring lifelong interest and learning in science, technology, engineering and math since 1988.
The Discovery Center of Idaho is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation existing without state or federal funding, dependent on tax deductible contributions from community-minded citizens, corporations and foundations.
